Woah! I am feeling the senioritis today and what a more perfect time than when I am writing my first post! Let me go back in time for a minute and explain everything. Last year I had three great friends, and I’m pretty sure the reason we were all so close had something to do with the fact that we were all Mass Comm majors. We shared some of the same classes, we all had the same professors, and we really enjoyed venting to each other about our life problems. The one thing that set me apart from these three was that I was a year younger than all of them.

Here’s where the story gets a little depressing. I knew from the beginning of that year that they would be leaving very soon and going on to bigger and better things. Throughout the first semester things were going pretty well, nothing had really changed too much. As soon as New Year’s Eve rolled around I had a mental breakdown. It would only be a few short months until they left and I lost it.

I embraced every second I had with them that last semester, but I also learned so much. I watched how they acted, what they were experiencing, and how they were reacting to the changes in their lives. Graduation rolled around and the job offers were coming in. I think watching them go through this only prepared me for what I would be going through this year. I know what to sort of expect, what to do, and what not to do.

This blog is a way for me to reflect on things that are happening in my life during my senior year. It’s about what I am learning from those three as they are in big kid positions now. The dynamics between all of us is completely different, because I am still in college, but the things they were going through I understand so much more because I am experiencing similar things.

Make sure to check back every Thursday for something new! Oh, and there is a page for the bios of my three friends, because I will be referring to them a lot! See you soon!
